Congratulations to our kindergarten and 1st grade on a wonderful production of, "A Barnyard Moosical," this past Thursday, June 7th! A HUGE thank you to Ellie Nevins for making all of the costumes. They were absolutely beautiful and our students looked adorable in them. Thank you for your many hours of effort in making our barnyard animals come to life. :) Thanks to Jill Johnson, our art teacher, for helping create the gorgeous set. These productions are a true team effort and I couldn't do it without all of the support from so many at NFS! Photo by Laura LaVallee

What a wonderful production of Once Upon A Lily Pad yesterday by our 2nd & 3rd graders! We enjoyed two shows yesterday; one in the morning for the school and one in the afternoon for parents and families. Students worked extremely hard in preparation for the show and brought great energy to both performances. Thank you for making this a memorable day for all of us!

We will be performing this program again on May 16th at the Elementary All City Concert at Portsmouth High School!!
We also heard from three brave 4th graders who played a solo and a duet! Please enjoy the pictures below of our music celebration yesterday, and as always Happy Music In Our Schools Month! This week during lunch we heard from some of our 4th and 5th grade band students. We had performances on the flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet and trombone! To help celebrate Music In Our Schools Month, we invited New England Brass to perform for our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders this afternoon. It was an extremely exciting performance where students got to learn about the brass family (trumpet, French horn, trombone and tuba) and hear a variety of beautiful music! Please enjoy some pictures of the performance, and thank New England Brass for giving NFS students such a memorable experience! Happy Music In Our Schools Month!
